Filing claims with The Compensation Fund can prove cumbersome and at times frustrating. Your claim is only deemed to have been received once a claim number has been allocated.There are clearly defined forms and claim procedures that must be followed when lodging a claim with the Compensation Fund. Failure to adhere to such processes may result in the claim being rejected.

1. Making contact with the concerned parties to advise on the claims process to be following
2. Ensure the accident is reported in the prescribed manner. We assist with the completion of the ”Employers report of an accident (W.Cl.2) which must be filed with the Compensation Commissioner within 7 days after the accident has taken place.
3. Liaising directly with the attending doctor to obtain the “First Medical Report (W.Cl.4)
4. Obtaining progress medical reports (where applicable)
5. Once the injured party is stable, obtaining the “final medical report (W.Cl.5) and submitting same to the Compensation Commissioner to determine the claim amount
